The sculpted housing is machined from billet aluminum and then treated to a high-quality black anodized finish. This thermostat housing is adjustable, allowing it to fit many engine and radiator combinations. For years, customers have asked us to create a reliable solution they could count on. Most available aftermarket solutions offer a sub-par generic thermostat that either leaks, doesnt function correctly or operates at a temperature outside the OEM specs. Our product covers those bases and more. The main housing has a -16 ORB thread which offers flexibility (can rotate 360*) between an OEM style radiator hose or the option to run AN fitting for your radiator. We include a single-threaded port (M18x1.5) in the top section that can be used to add an additional sensor. With an OEM K-Series thermostat (opens at 172.4*F) installed, expect factory functionality and reliability. We also include an OEM-style O-ring to prevent any leaks. This kit is also available with our HYPERCOOL Low Temp thermostat which will fully open around 18*F sooner than the standard version.
